Introducing a Legacy boot designed specifically for Women. Our XTRATUF® Women’s Legacy features the exact same non-marking, slip-resistant Chevron outsole as the classic, but specifically designed on a women's last for better fit and all-day comfort. We have introduced new prints on the boot liner to a pop of color when the boots are rolled down.

Wellies, billy boots, gumboots, or rain boots—whatever you call them, they’re made to get wet, muddy, and maybe covered in fish guts. We walked 14 pairs through 60 miles of mud, puddles, slush, leaves, slippery rocks, and melting snow, and we are convinced the Women’s Xtratuf 15″ Legacy Boot and the Men’s Xtratuf 15″ Legacy Boot provide the best combination of fit, comfort, and solid footing. Most importantly, they kept our feet dry and mud-free, and several Xtratuf owners we spoke with told us their pairs have lasted a decade of heavy wear.
Sometimes called the “unofficial state boot of Alaska” (for their intended use on fishing boat decks), the Women’s XtraTuf 15″ Legacy Boot and the Men’s XtraTuf 15″ Legacy Boot mix excellent traction with plenty of flexibility for walking comfort. They were among the highest performers in our six different traction tests—the outsole grips almost like a climbing shoe’s sticky rubber on slippery surfaces like wet rocks and soaped-up floors.
In addition, our testers think these boots are more comfortable for walking, standing, and driving than any other model we looked at, thanks to the flexibility of a latex-coated neoprene boot shaft, which XtraTuf claims can withstand exposure to all sorts of corrosive stuff.
The women’s model offers a roll-down top with a patterned inner liner that allows users to tailor the calf opening to their leg size (depending on how far up or down you roll it) and to convert the boot from a high-top to a low boot as needed. Although the Legacy model started as a men’s boat shoe, the women’s version is a genuinely functional, yet stylish solution to the “shrink and pink” approach many other brands take to women’s-specific gear. All boots come with a one-year limited warranty.
